Configuration backups & compliance

PingIQ backs up your network device configurations agentlessly: on a daily cadence the probe logs in over SSH (or the vendor API), retrieves the running config, and ships it to the cloud — where it's hashed, versioned and diffed.

Supported vendors

• Over SSH: Cisco IOS/NX-OS, MikroTik RouterOS, Aruba, Ubiquiti EdgeOS
• Over API: Fortinet (FortiGate), Sophos Firewall

What you get

• Change detection — a new version is stored only when the config actually changes

• Compliance rules: assert a config must (or must not) contain a string or regex, scoped per vendor, with an on-demand compliance report

Credentials

Each device uses a dedicated, encrypted backup login (separate from the SSH host-monitor credential), masked in the UI.
